China Energy Group Guodian Power Fujian New Energy Co., Ltd. has signed a new energy investment and development agreement with Fujian Shunyuan Textile Co., Ltd.

On January 14, 2022, the Youxi County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau signed an investment agreement for new energy with the State Energy Group Guodian Power Fujian New Energy Co., Ltd. and Fujian Shunyuan Textile Co., Ltd.The photovoltaic power generation project is located in the West Garden of Youxi County, Sanming City, with a planned total installed capacity of 10MW, with an expected total investment of about 41 million yuan. The generated electricity will be consumed through the method of "self-use and surplus electricity connected to the grid." After the project is completed, it can provide about 10.72 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, save 3,180 tons of standard coal each year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 8,331 tons, which has good economic, social, and environmental benefits, and is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of enterprises.

The Youxi County Party Committee, County Government, and industrial park enterprises actively respond to the national call for "carbon peak and carbon neutrality," earnestly implement the new energy development strategy, seize the opportunities for new energy development, actively explore distributed photovoltaic resources, create a low-carbon industrial park, promote the development of advanced photovoltaic new energy industry, and accelerate the construction of a new power system dominated by new energy, effectively reducing carbon emissions in the energy sector. The successful signing of this project lays a good foundation for the development of new energy in our county in 2022.State Energy GroupEngineers from Guodian Power are also entering the industrial parks such as Chengnan Park and Chengxi Park in batches to design and survey the layout of photovoltaic power generation. The investment promotion team of the Youxi County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau,the Youxi branch of State Energy Group Guodian Power Fujian New Energy Co., Ltd. is alsoactively negotiating with enterprises in the industrial park.

During his inspection in Youxi, Liu Tingquan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of State Energy Group Guodian Power Fujian New Energy Co., Ltd., proposed plans based on the unique resource advantages of Youxi County.He plansto invest 1 billion yuan in our county,with an installed capacity of 200 MWp of rooftop distributed photovoltaic; at the same time, according to the orderly promotion of distributed photovoltaic, he plans to invest another 800 million yuan inindustrial parks such as Chengxi Park and Chengnan Park.The total investment for the photovoltaic power generation and energy storage project will exceed 1.8 billion yuan. It is estimated that after the completion of the photovoltaic power station in Youxi County, the total power generation in 25 years will be about 5.066 billion kWh, with an average annual power generation of about 203 million kWh and an average annual effective utilization hours of 1,013.53 hours. By developing photovoltaic projects, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 170,000 tons annually, totaling about 4.24 million tons over 25 years. The completion of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage stations in our county will increase local tax revenue by more than 50 million yuan each year.
